Vantage Studio designs FUTON's website

FUTON, an alternative rock band with a true sense of being "international".
Thanks to the band's 6 members coming from different parts of the world, namely UK , Japan, and Thailand,  FUTON has been successfully delivering its unique, cross-cultural music flavor that's seemingly hitting the right button for fans all over the world. Their musics are being played on famous stations like UK's Radio1, MTV Asia, Channel V, and lots of local stations in Singapore, Japan, and Australia. The band also tours the world over, opening greatly successful shows in London, Paris, Tokyo, Germany, Vietnam, and Nepal. Their albums are now on sale in both Europe and Asia with steadily growing fan base.

Strange as it may sound, Futon is based in Bangkok, Thailand. And by the virtue of being international in the truest sense, the band was keen to create communication channels that enable them to get in touch with fans around the globe from their Bangkok home base.

Apart from its continuing efforts to promote the band in a lot of local & international printed media and magazines in many countries, the band also see the internet as an essential platform on which they can establish a quick, easy way to interactively connect with their fans. Vantage Studio was asked by Simon Gilbert, one of the band's core members, to create a website to serve just that purpose.

So that's how we come to create the website for FUTON..

The site features the band's history, profiles of all 6 members, streaming video recordings from the band's live performances. A webboard is used to share information among fans and the band's members. An on-line music store was added to the site recently to sell digital copies of their musics.
