A New Aspect of Finance

Vantage Studio creates an on-line collaborative environment for the Master of Science in Finance program.

In a response to the growing need to access and share information within the department, the Masters of Science in Finance program of Chulalongkorn University came up with an idea to create a custom-design collaboration platform that consolidates resource sharing, student-advisor collaboration, information center, and event calendar functionalities into one customized system. Vantage Studio was called in to fulfill the role of design & integration of the system.

The design team created a portal page that verifies each user's privilege upon logging in and provide him/her with the relevant resources. All usage records are logged for monitoring and assessment. Advisors can easily keep track of each student visit and the follow-up can be done interactively between advisor and his/her student. The system also allows for an immediate access to student information, thesis status, and many other essential resources.
